I want to cultivate patience as well. This poem helps me to take a deep breath and regain a little of that quiet, fertile ground.Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13173293906311077558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8436782596901032353.post-49784597620792667532010-06-16T22:07:59.904-05:002010-06-16T22:07:59.904-05:00I like this poem. But reading it again, I see how it can also apply to the kind of patience you (try to) exercise with children. Anyway, both are very difficult. It is helpful to think of patience as something capable of producing a diamond. I love that image.Juliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07050111738609344148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8436782596901032353.post-23485014880147035532010-06-16T19:10:39.551-05:002010-06-16T19:10:39.551-05:00I´m experiencing a bit of that patience - or lack ...I´m experiencing a bit of that patience - or lack thereof - this week with my grandson Dayton. He tries the patience, but he CAN be loving and sweet. Yesterday he drew me a loverly picture for my birthday, today he griped all the way to an errand we ALL had to go on, today he almost cried when the TV wasn´t working (me too!!), but at this moment he´s happy and laughing. Whew!Beth Hannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01177578871059989951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8436782596901032353.post-71172220483360358062010-06-16T16:17:44.070-05:002010-06-16T16:17:44.070-05:00Forgive me for posting two links today; I just rea...Forgive me for posting two links today; I just realized that I hadn't linked my post from last week.Emily Lorellihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03646891502341239969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8436782596901032353.post-21119993079054040892010-06-16T10:52:42.669-05:002010-06-16T10:52:42.669-05:00Michelle,

I can totally relate to this post, Kris. I must say that my perpetual lack of patience keeps me praying without ceasing. I'm convinced now that one never owns patience but must ask minute to minute that it be gifted to him or her by Christ. All that to say, I am right there with you! : )Molly Sabourinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04289593743687415065noreply@blogger.com
