Look what we made

I was ready to give up on the crayons.
They were broken, stubby, hard to color with.
The kids would not use the broken crayons, especially since I had broken out a new box "just for me" and declared them NOT for children.
I know, what about sharing?
Well, I'm teaching them the important lesson of respecting others property.

So what to do?
I almost chucked them all, but then remembered you can melt them!

A muffin tin, some broken crayons, 250 degrees and ten minutes..
Ta-da!

New rainbow crayons!
Fun!
Easy!
Big!
