We heard a knock on our door this afternoon and it was our mail lady carrying a big ol' box of goodies from Abuela!
Candy, costumes, bags, she knows what we like.
Full disclosure: The Chavo Del Ocho finger puppets are mine, as are the Paleta Payaso. Just so you know, your grandkids are not allowed to touch those.
Cousin Dayton, thank you for giving up your Zorro for the Mikey.
Although I'm pretty sure no self-respecting Zorro holds his hands this way:

Up until now, Deli has been our resident Dalmation,
but I think he's moving up on the food chain.
I have a feeling I will have to stop the lion from eating my ankles in the next few days.

I'm so glad you liked the finger puppets! Alan and I dug through this huge tin tub of them at the market looking for all the characters. We were quite disappointed not to come up with Don Ramon, Dona Florinda, and la Bruja de 71.
You got the best characters, even without the others. Thanks!
I love, love, love Mikey's pose in that final photo.
He couldn't decide if he was Zorro or a vampire. The outfit kind of lends itself to both, I suppose.
