Aaaaarrrrr!!

Pirates took over the park!
They ran amok, crafting up some manly necklaces,



walkin' the plank, treasure hunting for ice cream,

and communing with their animals.
They fed their parrots peanuts and kicked a gigantic ball around with a horse.

The powers that be finally had enough of the pirate shenanigans and called the firemen
who promptly shot us all with their water cannon. It was mayhem with screaming, slipping, sliding, running,
and maybe just a little bit more ice cream.



It was a good day to be a pirate.

And many thanks to the best library ever for a wonderful summer reading finale!
