Apparently Del's the only cute one

Last Sunday was a mistake that turned out better than expected. Our movie theater runs free fall shows and we regularly take advantage of the free fun. We invited Grandma and Grandpa to go to Mass with us followed by a free showing of Karate Kid! I think we are contractually obliged to say Karate Kid! every time we say Karate Kid! Daneil-san! Or whatever the new Karate Kid! is named.

But nooooo! The movie people changed the times on us! We were late, too late to sneak in, too late to have just missed the previews, we were late, late, late! My fault, I didn't check the times, but in my defense, these movies have been at the same time for years. Years! I tell you. Now what?

We scraped ourselves together and headed to the pumpkin farm. There were pumpkins and gourds and pumpkins and pumpkins! Popcorn, nachos, pretzels, mums, teeny pumpkins, haybale mazes, jumpy houses, barrel trains and so much more.
We loaded up on pumpkins and popcorn, then headed out for lunch.

It's a good think I made a mistake.
Or we wouldn't have memories like these.

Very precious! Don´t you love it when "mistakes" turn out to be "blessings"?

Great rebound, Kris! Dell looks not the least bit disappointed about your change of plans. You can Karate Kid it up later in your basment beside a cozy fire. Wax on, wax off, my friend!
