Toad Houses

We have a lot of catching up to do! It's been a busy couple of weeks and I've been remiss in the picture posting.
We did indeed make toad houses, and they turned out lovely.

We did not have grout, so we used liquid nails and it turned out great.
Until the rain came.
After the rain there was nothing but soggy little bits of toad houses.
Pots surrounded by bits and pieces of stone, coke tops, popsicle sticks and slimy, mooshy liquid nails.

But before the rain, they were great.
You see mine above and Mike's below, but let's get to the good ones.

These.

Elia made a toad hotel & restaurant - they are linked together by a chain!

Josie's house is inspired by castles with pointy defenses on the top. Lots of sticks, some long screws and an extra arrow so the toads can find the entrance. She stuffed it with leaves and flowers "so the toads will be happy".

Those were great houses.
Until the rain.

They're BEOOTIFUL! Too bad one of you didn't put an umbrella on yours! For the rain, of course!
