The Josephine Day turns six today. She is kind and lovely and very cool, very much like her namesakes. She is a fashion queen, coming up with outfits I would never have chosen, yet somehow able to pull them off. She takes pride in the birthmark on her forehead - "it's shaped like a piece of watermelon, that's why I love watermelon so much!" She is fearless, throwing herself into reading, riding water slides and meeting new people all with equal gusto. She is tender and sweet, holding conversations with Lois, helping her remember things and enjoying Lois when the rest of us have tired. The Josie is losing her front teeth, confirming her grown-upness, and she is now old enough for Lego Club, much to her delight.

what? no comments?!? well...we were busy with the final day of our final summer team and we missed Friday. But belated Happy Birthday to the Joser and she certainly is growing up and we are proud to be one of her many uncles and aunts, aunts and uncles.
I missed Friday this week too! It was more than crazy! But I know it was a happy day for Josie! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOSIE! I'm proud to be your ABUELA! Love you.
