Poetry Wednesday, Vol. 86

Spring Song

Lucille Clifton

the green of Jesus
is breaking the ground
and the sweet
smell of delicious Jesus
is opening the house and
the dance of Jesus music
has hold of the air and
the world is turning
in the body of Jesus and
the future is possible
***************

This poem feels hopeful and a little hippy and a whole lot happy, and all the way ready for Easter.  We can feel and taste and hear Easter Sunday on the not too distant horizon.

Have a peaceful week.

Yes, Easter is all about Jesus! It´s easier here to remember that, because we don´t have all the bunnies, eggs, candies, etc. etc. that deluge you guys in the States! PTL!!
