Jesus

Most of you read Pentimento.  I had not really.  I followed a link today and began perusing her older posts.  Good, good stuff.  Sunday's post made me think of Claire, especially, and her thoughts on the poor.  Do you always feel as if you should put quotation marks around "the poor"?  As if they are a category unto themselves?  Are we being ironic, using air quotes?  Aren't we all poor in a way, or do the quotes mean physically poor rather than spiritually poor?  "The Poor" as opposed to poor people.  Anyway.

Reading back in time along Pentimento's posts I discovered this gem.  She was right.  Just watch.

I almost didn"t watch it because it made me think immediately of Richard. But I did and was blessed. These folks have a difficult life now and ahead of them, but with God.... anything is possible. Thanks, Kris.

I only just got this video to work. I like how quiet it was, not too many words. Really lovely.
