Pennies From Heaven

I recently had two weddings to make, so the house was filled with flowers.
The girls happily set to work designing bouquets, corsages and all types of lovely creations with the leftover flowers.

Elia made a whole bunch of corsages and took them to an open house for her Grandma, Grandpa, Great Grandma, Great Grandpa and the college grad we were celebrating. Whew! That's a lot of corsages - and a lot of G's.

Much to Elia's happy surprise she received a note in the mail from Great Grandparents Kuznicki, thanking her for the lovely flowers. And best of all, they included payment! A whole quarter!

She immediately began planning all the goodies she was going to buy at the YMCA vending machine.

That is, until I brought up the idea of taxes, paying for supplies, paying rent for workspace, etc.
Now she owes me.

Isn't that what great grandparents are for, to spoil the great fabulous wonderful grandkids??
